2003 Land Rover Discovery Defender Engine Description

After a 2 year process and too much patience on my side, I'm cutting my dream Disco 2 Tdi project. I built one to overland with and that was my hopes for this one. So long before the beard, I've been friends with "Heavy D" from the discovery channel show Diesel Brothers. We have done a few projects together and this one was underway just before he the show started. We both were doing them at the same time with an estimated turn of 6 weeks. (2.5 years later ha!) Anyway, ordered up a drive train from the UK ($4,700 USD) including Tdi, 5 speed, and T-case to put in a clean Disco II with a 3" Old Man Emu Lift and ARB bumper. Also ordered new injectors and turbo just tohave a fresh start and easy to do while it's out. Gillette Diesel in Salt lake rebuilt the injector pump and tuned it up a bit. Just about wrapped up and started working on the AC lines and that's where we stopped. HVAC is all hooked up and works well. Switches from defrost and blows heat/defrost etc. Headlights and tail lights work, turn signals don't but should just be a fuse or relay as the hazards also don't. The radio alsoisn't turning on and the temp sensor plugalso needs to be plugged back it and should be good. I want toemphasize it's a swap and will need a few things tweaked to be perfect. Got it to run and drive so I was happy with that. Ready for a new owner to justfinalize a few things or just enjoy as is. Needless to say, Super presentable driver and great to cruise or take off road. Digital always looks a bit better than real life so if you can, come on by to take a closer look. Look at all pics carefully and videos before purchasing. Unless you are comfortable purchasing sight unseen, please don't bid.
