(photo shows "4.0" on the intake because the 4.6L and 4.0L use the same size connector so the shop used the same 4.0L cover. However, the new 4.6L engine is under that cover).
The vehicle itself has 86,000 original miles on it. However, a local exotic mechanic group installed a brand new, upgraded Land Rover engine in this D90 that adds an extra 40hp. The new engine has less than 300 miles on it.
Land Rover just announced that they are cancelling the Defender, so this rare 1997 D90 is the newest Defender you'll ever be able to import into the USA. It's also the only model that has an Automatic transmission with air conditioning.

The body is in fantastic shape. The white aluminum is perfect. There is some rust underneath, as to be expected. It's one of the cleanest Defenders you'll be able to find.
The vehicle has an after market Alpine sound system. It includes 4 Focal speakers, 2 Alpine amps, 2 Focal subwoofers with custom built boxes positioned in the back behind the sideways facing seats (far better positioning than on the rear door like you'd normally see).Bluetooth and hands-free calling work just like a new, modern vehicle via your iPhone or Android phone.
Much of the interior has been fixed up, including new carpet in the rear, new fabric on the ceiling, etc... The white aluminum body is in near perfect condition and draws a lot of attention wherever you go.
