This is an exceptionally sound rust free Land Rover, I have owned it for about 15 years. It has been part of my fleet of "picture vehicles" in Los Angeles (see double u double u double u dot eurofilmcars dot com). It has appeared in numerous TV series, films and commercials. This 1975 Series 3 comes with a 1975 SANKEY Land Rover trailer. This is the later more desirable model with a removable tailgate. Wheels are interchangeable with the Land Rover. PLEASE NOTE: This 109 is NOT a DEFENDER model!! I cannot understand why most of the Series 3 vehicles for sale on eBay are referred to as "Defenders"!! Defenders have a 110 wheelbase and are a lot different from the classic "Series" models. Desirable LEFT HAND DRIVE. Odometer shows 51696 kms (approx 32100 miles) but I cannot guarantee that this is the original mileage. I have probably put 200 miles on it in the past 15 years. It is always transported to the film set. Although this LR is 40 years old it was "preserved" by the British army in 1994. This was a common practice when vehicles reached a certain age and were mothballed. The British haven't fought in many wars between 1975 and 1994 so I doubt this car has 151696 kms!!! Very good mechanical condition. Four wheel drive works. Hand painted British army style. Recent new correct top but also comes with it's original canvas top in good condition. BOTH car and trailer come with a clear California title in my name. I am selling this rig as a package so please don't ask me to separate.
