1996 Land Rover Discovery Description

I bought this Rover in early December and parked it in my back yard because it had expired tags. Most recently, it was registered in California until January 2014. I've had more trouble than I expected registering the vehicle since the DMV requires paperwork from the previous owners. I can't leave it parked in the back yard. It doesn't have a front bumper and the fog lights and turn signals are in the trunk. I drove it about 50 miles on the freeway and it was smooth. It passed a California emissions "smog" test a couple weeks ago, which is one requirement for registration here. An out of state purchase- I presume- would only require the title.
