2004 Land Rover Discovery SE7 Sport Utility 4-Door Description

UP FOR BID AT NO RESERVE, I HAVE THIS BEAUTIFUL 2004 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY II SE7 4.6L V8 ENGINE - LAST YEAR OF THIS DISCOVERY MODEL. CLEAN TITLE - 2 PREVIOUS FL OWNERS, WITH 133K ORIGINAL MILES. I PURCHASED AROUND A YEAR AGO WITH THE INTENTIONS OF DOING SOME OFF ROAD UPGRADES TO IT, BUT PLANS CHANGED. INSTEAD IT ENDED UP SITTING AT MY FRIENDS SHOP FOR THE PAST YEAR.PICKED IT UP THIS PAST WEEK AND DROVE IT HOME (ABOUT 30 MILES) WITH NO ISSUES - DROVE LIKE A CHAMP, CONSIDERING IT SAT FOR SUCH A LONG TIME.AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES, THE BODY IS IN GREAT SHAPE. THE PAINT IS FAIRLY GOOD, BUT THE PAINT ON THE ROOF IS FADING FROM THE FL SUN EXPOSURE - THE REST OF THE BODY IS IN GOOD SHAPE - NO RUST. MINOR DENTS AND SCRATCHES, BUT NOTHING MAJOR. FRONT BUMPER HAS SOME BROKEN/CRACKED PARTS - AS THESE ARE VERY FRAGILE. INTERIOR IS IN GOOD SHAPE. SOME WEAR AND TEAR - AS YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM A VEHICLE OF THIS AGE A MILES. DRIVER SIDE SEAT ARMREST HAS SOME WEAR AND TEAR. IT DOES HAVE A BRAND NEW HEADLINER. THE DASH HAS SOME DAMAGE FROM THE SUN - CLUSTER COVER IS BROKEN AND THE DASH PANEL IS A LITTLE DEFORMED. POWER MIRRORS, POWER WINDOWS (EXCEPT FRONT PASSENGER WINDOW THAT DOES NOT ROLL DOWN), POWER SEATS, BOTH SUNROOFS AND DVD PLAYER WITH TV SCREEN ARE ALL IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION. THIRD ROW SEATS ARE PRACTICALLY NEW. RADIO AND SPEAKERS WORK AS DESIGNED AND SOUND GOOD. A/C BLOWS COLD. ENGINE STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS STRONG - NO OIL LEAKS OF ANY KIND (THE LEAK VISIBLE ON THE UNDERCARRIAGE PICTURE IS FROM THE COOLANT RESERVOIR TANK, DUE TO A FAULTY RESERVOIR CAP - VERIFIED BY MECHANIC. ALREADY ORDERED A REPLACEMENT CAP). WHEN THE ENGINE IS RUNNING, YOU CAN HEAR THE LIFTERS TICKING - PROBABLY FROM SITTING FOR SO LONG, BECAUSE IT DIDN'T DO IT BEFORE GETTING STORED. I BELIEVE AN OIL CHANGE WILL ELIMINATE THIS NOISE. IT ALSO HAS A SMALL EXHAUST LEAK - HAVEN'T VERIFIED ITS EXACT LOCATION, BUT I THINK IT'S COMING FROM AROUND THE HEADERS. TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTH THROUGH ALL GEARS. SUSPENSION IS GOOD ALL AROUND. BRAKES ARE GOOD - BRAND NEW ABS PUMP/MODULE. TIRES ARE GOOD - BUT SINCE THEY SAT FOR SUCH A LONG TIME, THEY ARE OUT OF BALANCE. THE RIGHT REAR TIRE HAS A PLUG ON THE SIDE WALL. SPARE TIRE IS BRAND NEW. EVERYTHING ELSE IS PRACTICALLY IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION.

**** FORGOT TO MENTION THAT THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT IS ON DUE TO CODE P1173 - WHICH CAN BE CAUSED BY A BAD O2 SENSOR OR ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:The 4 common triggers for this code are.
1) dirty air filter and MAF
2) low engine temp
3) poor fuel causing injs to have long cycle times
4) plugs to cold or excessive gap.
