Very nice fully loaded 2004 Range Rover HSE!
Runs and drives but NEEDS TRANSMISSION WORK and will need to be towed!
Engine runs and drives well.Transmission slips out of gear, then goes into failsafe mode. It's been sitting for a few months but I shot the footage in video right before listing this auction. The vehicle is currently driveable but not for long distances, which is why it will need to be towed.
Cold AC, 4WD, Harmon Kardon stereo sounds amazing, display in dash does NOT work (replacements are on eBay for $250). Looks great. Good shape for a 2004. Has a few scratches and some chips on the front bumper. Clips that hold front turn signal assemblies are broken. Easy fix. Sunroof isn't working–possibly just a fuse.
Recently passed smog test, though currently the check engine light is on due to the transmission issues. Clean title in hand and registration good through November 2017.

For some reason, unplugging the ABS module mostly prevents the transmission from slipping out of gear. I don't know why–I'm not a mechanic. But doing so may enable you to drive this vehicle home if you don't have far to go. But I don't recommend driving it over a long distance before having the transmission checked out.
