HISTORY: I purchased this 2001 Land Rover Range Rover 4.6 HSE from the Boise, ID Land Rover dealer, Lyle Pearson Premier Motorcars in late April 2015. It had 74,605 original miles on it at the time. The original owner traded it in there, and it's where it'd always been serviced. I have most of the service records from the dealer. I had a pre-purchase inspection done by Treasure Valley British Automotive in Boise, ID. They specialize in Land Rover and Jaguar repairs. I am the second owner. To serious buyers, and if you request, I will provide VIN so that you can pull a Carfax.
About this P38 Rover including April '15 repairs by Treasure Valley British Automotive (TVBA):
• Bonatti grey over grey leather interior
• Original owner had dealer replace the air suspension with coil spring conversion kit -- I kept those shocks and springs when lifted and will include
• Original owner had dealer replace heater core with 60k inspection
• TVBA replaced ABS brake accumulator
• TVBA replaced tie rods and steering stabilizer
• TVBA replaced HVAC control panel due to defective pixels (very common)
• Did NOT replace right recirculation door motor for A/C. The A/C blows cold and strong. The HVAC panel will show a fault code for this only when you operate the A/C. It's code 22. Fault warning shuts down when not operating A/C.
• Original owner replaced front and rear pads/rotors at 69k -- pads currently @ 60+%
• All drivetrain fluids looked to have been recently replaced recently (TVBA)
• Glove box shock bracket broken--does not affect operation of glove box
• Crack in driver's headlight that does not affect performance--see photo
• Passenger sun visor light disconnected as it blows fuse
• Seat heaters not working. Have not had diagnosed.
• NEW battery in August 2015
• ADDITIONAL: Two sets of tires - unmounted Kumho all-season with 50% tread and virtually brand-new Bridgestone Blizzaks mounted on original wheels
• Interior excellent. One scratch in passenger seat leather--see photo.
• Exterior has a few scratches and rock chips, but overall looks great. No rust, and according to Boise dealer, neither salt or magnesium chloride are used on their roads.
• Nothing leaking on garage floor
• Navigation discs are original and for NW U.S.A. On-road and off-road navigation works.
• Roof rack cross bars
• Have two remote keys, manual and most service records--see photo
