For sale is a low mileage, meticulously maintained 2005 Lexus SC430 Hard Top Convertible.The car is silver with ivory interior. It has 39,264 miles, at the time of writing. The mileage should remain at or very close to this amount.
I have owned the car since November 2005. My wife and I live in Florida and Connecticut. We are Florida residents. The Car, located in Connecticut, has a clean Florida Title. Clean CarFax and can send upon request.
The vehicle has been serviced exclusively at either Lexus of Greenwich (CT), or Wilde Lexus of Sarasota (FL). We have every service record for the vehicle. Everything is up to date. (The service records can be sent upon request.)
Why sell the car?I have owned it for 11+ years, and it has 39,000 miles. It doesn't get driven very much. I am also nearing 90 years young. And while all is good, there are better cars for me to drive. Truth be told, I don't drive as much as I used to.
In short, this car should be enjoyed by someone who will utilize the hard top convertible, can make use of the small, but usable back seat, enjoy the Mark Levinson sound system, and travel on long trips to enjoy the comfort and overall reliability of this car. It's simply not happening now.
The Good:See the pictures, and read the reviews. This is a true luxury car that is fun to drive. NAV, Bluetooth, etc. And of course it has the Toyota/Lexus reliability.
This is one of the lowest mileage examples one will find. Any lower, and it means that the car sat for too long. As an engineer, commercial architect, and former Navy pilot, I have a general sense for mechanicals and engines. I know enough to know cars shouldn't sit.)
The interior is gorgeous. Great condition. The car has everything. Lexus did a stellar job with the interior. And this car maintains that look. The car has been cared for.Manual, 3 keys and Valet key. First Aid kit. Tool kit and everything the car left with from the factory.
The Less Than Good:Due to a few transports to and from Florida, there are some surface scratches on the car. Also, since the car stays in the garage, my grandchildren's toys every now and again seemingly have rubbed against the car. Hard to tell from 5 feet. Even from 3. Up close, one can see them. (I can't, but they are there.) This is minor, but in the spirit of full disclosure, the car has a few scratches. I have also heard a surface scratch can be removed. Candidly, I never looked into it. I really don't notice them.
