About the 1997 Lexus LX 450:

I just wanted to say when you click to the link on ad for more pictures make sure you click on "homepage" in upper left hand corner. There should be 3 "albums" of pictures, including pictures under truck.

California Lexus, no rust through anywhere, solid as a rock. All original paint other than hood and cowl, which were repainted due to clear coat coming off. No body filler any where, so what you see is what you get, nothing to hide, no accidents. Clean clear title in my name. Smogged and licensed in the state of California. Old original paint is not perfect. I have taken pictures underneath the Lexus to show you how solid it is. You will see some mud spots in the pictures of underneath and those spots are not rust. It gets driven on a country dirt and gravel road. I took pictures under fenders of the wheel wells to show you how rust free this Lexus is. This vehicle doesn't have electronic lockers in axles. I didn't need them, I don't go off road. Lexus runs and drives great, these vehicles are known for going 500,000 miles. Lexus has all options, including factory moon/sun roof. Too many options to list and everything works. The factory power antenna still works. The factory a/c is still ice cold. Also equipped with rare factory towing package that includes a heavy duty trailer hitch, factory 4 pin wiring light connector, extra large automatic transmission cooler.

These vehicles have some things that need addressing. I am exposing to you all the work needed that I am aware of, so I am being very open to letting you know what you are purchasing. It has already had a head gasket update, pesky heater hose replaced, EGR factory update.

Things that will need to be done; driver side front window -is getting slow and creaky but still works okay, driver side rear door- needs a switch, ABS light comes on once in a great while, left rear axle seal -starting to seep. I had Lexus send me a copy of window sticker. Good reliable truck, I love it. I towed my old Willy’s flat fender Jeep with it once and kept accurate track of fuel mileage it got 14.5 mpg, while towing with A/C on. I thought this was good (a lot of up and down hills with a lot of curves). It still has the original paint under fenders at fender wells.
