2011 Lexus IS Description

This 2011 Lexus IS 250 AWD V6 is in fantastic condition! It is fully loaded, sleek, powerful and fun to drive. It was purchased by my mother, a non-smoker, from Hoffman Lexus in East Hartford, CT in June 2011, when she was 83 years of age. For her whole life, she had always wanted to own a sports car. So, she bought this Lexus off the showroom floor, brand new, and loved driving it. The vehicle has been garaged most of its life and well maintained. It has an automatic transmission with a 2.5L 24-valve direct injection V6 engine. And, it is All Wheel Drive. It is still under the manufacturer's powertrain warranty, with only 21,629 miles. Lexus' specs say that it gets 20 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.

If you check Carfax, you will find that there are 2 previous owners. The owners were my mother and me; and now, my wife and I own the car. Carfax also lists one accident in 2012. I believe that that report refers to the time that my mother was parallel parked on the street in front of her dry cleaner's shop and another vehicle knocked off her driver's side mirror. The mirror was replaced at Hoffman Lexus. I know of no other accident. Carfax suggests that the fair sales price for this vehicle is $20,400. The exterior color is black. Lexus calls the color "Obsidian".

The interior is a cream color leather. Lexus calls the color "Ecru". It is enhanced by Espresso Bird's Eye Maple Interior Trim. The front seats are perforated leather-trimmed and are both heated and ventilated. And, it has an interior, remotely controlled, rear window, power shade/screen to reduce sunlight and glare. It even has a feature that when you shift the car into reverse, the exterior, rearview mirrors tilt down to assist you when backing up. This is on top of the rearview backup camera.

The vehicle has the luxury package, the Lexus Navigation System and the Mark Levinson Audio Package.

Naturally, since it is a 2011 car, the vehicle has a few light/minor scratches/scuffs and wheel rim scuffs. It may have minor road chips, consistent with the age of the vehicle under normal wear and tear, but I can't see them. Otherwise, it is pristine.
