1940 Lincoln Zephyr V12
1940 Lincoln Other Description
Very nice 1940 Zephyr sedan. This was owned by a gentleman in Colorado who restored the car back in the 1980s. It has gotten very little use since then. As you can see from the photos, the car is in really great condition. The motor and radiator appear to have been fully restored, although I do not have any paperwork on that. The V12 engine starts and runs smoothly. I have not had any issues with the engine running hot, although I have not entered it in a parade or otherwise taxed the motor on a hot day. You can tell from the quality of the restoration work that the previous owner/restorer was very meticulous, apart from the choice of interior material, which is not of the original type. It is exceptionally clean inside and out, from the motor, to the interior, to the trunk. The tube radio even works! It is a very presentable and drivable car. I'm selling it because I'm focusing more on open body cars. If you're looking for a nice, reasonably-priced Lincoln from this classic era, this is a good choice. The car is located in Denver, Colorado, and is easily accessible from I-70 or I-25. Purchaser to pay all shipping costs. Good luck!
