This generation Town Car is no question the most elegant yet modernized years they offered. Only available from '95-'97, this 3 year run is the most sought after as well. This particular 1996 Town Car is trimmed out in the mid level "Signature Series" package, offering great standard features and amenities not found in the lesser "Executive". While these Town Cars roamed the streets in large numbers when new, today they are becoming quite difficult to find. Finished in a beautiful and very unique Cypress Gold Frost, which is a must see in person color to really appreciate! It is a flip-flop color depending on the lighting. It can go from a rich beige, to a cream color with a slight pinkish pearl. The color is beautiful, and draws eyes when it glows. The interior color is a very light "Cypress" as well, a slight color difference from the standard light grays they offered in these Town Cars. The feature that makes the whole package come together is the super rare 8 pocket chrome wheels. Only offered in 96 and 97 year cars, these wheels make this Lincolns JUMP! Of course when they are wrapped in white wall tires it brings it even further. Additional options are dual power seats, JBL sound system, power moon roof, air ride suspension, key-less entry system, and the touring package! This car even sports a unique set of "Lincoln" dealer installed splash guards that protect the car from road kick up. This Lincoln would make anyone who is looking to enjoy the road a happy driver. With only 46k miles, it shows and feels like a late model car. The fit and finish is great, along with the tight and smooth driving. The exterior of the car sparkles and shines in the sunlight. Between the paint and chrome, it catches your passing eye. Those beautiful chrome wheels reflect beautifully, and show very well. The white wall tires are recent replacements, very deep tread! The car looks to have been garaged most of its life to preserve its condition over its 20 year life. Owned by an older woman, the car has lived a pampered life. The interior shows that well. With minor wear on the driver’s seat and little to no wear on the other seats proves that this Lincoln was gently used. All the functions work as designed, from the power seats, to the air ride suspension, to the automatic climate control. Cold AC or hot heat, whatever you set the temperature at is the comfort you will feel. The rugs, floor mats, and door panels all show little to no wear, along with the headliner and trim. The glass is original and chip free, even the auto dimming mirrors are functional! This car comes with 1 key, 1 remote, all 4 floor mats, the owner’s manuals, and even the original window sticker! There are a few minor imperfections to point out as with any used car. There are a few light scratches to be expected, one notable on the top of the left front fender, and one on the driver’s door by the upper edge. There is also a minor ding on the left rear wheel opening, just under the gas cap. There is a minor crack in the lower bumper valance on the rear bumper, passenger’s side. The only other notable defect is a dent on the lower portion of the driver’s side fender, under the side trim. The car starts, runs, stops and steers just like it was designed to do. It drives down the road effortlessly, and is a real pleasure to drive. The mileage on the car may go up for any test drives or re-locating the car to a different garage.
