Fast440 is pleased to offer this 1956 Continental Mark II Coupe that has been in dry storage for the last 46 years. This example is a project car with some restoration started and never completed. Most importantly, the Body is solid throughout, and this includes solid Floor Pans, inner Rocker Panels, Trunk Rails and Spare Tire Well. The Condition of the Exterior Sheet Metal includes solid Quarter Panels, bases of both Doors etc. Body preparation has begun with good quality work performed, and ready for final-stage block sanding and paint. Truly a great restoration project on these extremely rare cars and sure to consistently appreciate in value due a fascinating automotive history, and very low production numbers on these mostly hand built cars. Speaking of history, the first owner was a famous New Orleans Jazz Musician known as " the King of Bourbon Street", Interesting little tid bit. The car is equipped with an era Correct and dealer installed Air-Conditioning system manufactured by Frigidaire. All parts come with the car with the exception of both lower Rocker Moldings, and all four Hubcaps are included (extremely hard to find and very expensive). See the detailed parts inventory pictures below. Factory Service Manuals and illustrated Factory Parts book will be included in the sale. The car will run and lot drive, no brakes.
