1948 Lincoln Continental Coupe V12...Worth Consideration
1948 Lincoln Continental Two door coupe Description
As a kid I admired the 1940s Lincoln Continentals. As an old man I decided to buy one. Problem is most for sale were priced beyond me.
Along came big blue so I bought it. When it arrived I was disappointed in the finish. It runs just fine. The V12 was rebuilt now with only 2500 miles and the manual transmission with overdrive work as advertised and tested. Interior has been mostly redone and is serviceable. So what's not to like? The exterior is a blend of original, repaint and touch up...fortunately with good color matching. Just not up to my standards.
Couple of other things don't work; the radio, clock, parking brake and the heater defroster is a maybe. All gauges and safety features seem to be OK. A new owner might find things not to like...but the price will be right. Engine pictures are available on request. Under the hood is neat and tidy.
I have some history and the Owner's Manual. Call me for information and I will tell you recent prices paid for this car and others. This is a no reserve listing.
