Last of a legend! 2003 was a very significant year for the Town Car. It was the first year of the last re-fresh of the Town Car body style, but the final year of the iconic "Cartier" series. The Cartier had been the name associated with only the top trimmed Town Cars for decades. We are still scratching our heads on why they dropped the Town Car in the first place, so figuring out why they would drop the Cartier trim line will stay a mystery forever. When you think of Cartier you think of rich, super soft leather. You also think of a Lincoln that would be stuffed with options and amenities. This '03 is no different. This is a 1 owner car that I plucked out of the beautiful Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina. Bought new at Rocky Mount Ford/ Lincoln, and owned right in town. A faithful customer to Rocky Mount, the owner serviced the car at the original selling dealer its whole life, except for a few oil changes here and there done at a local Shell Station. Most of the mileage was accumulated driving the car from Rocky Mount NC about 2 hours to the coast to spend time at the condo in Nags Head NC. This was the ultimate highway cruiser, and loves the open road. I acquired the car and had it shipped up to be brought to market and re-homed. This is a beautiful rust free "Southern Belle" that will give you many years of happy and trouble free driving. Loaded with options like HID headlamps, fog lamps, beautiful pit free/corrosion free chrome wheels, heated front seats, memory drivers seats, power open/close trunk with pull down, CD changer, air ride suspension and much more! If you are looking for a super clean, well maintained, smooth as silk driving Town Car of the last generation, then this is the car for you!

Finished in a very attractive Pearl White over Cashmere leather, this car has looks that will draw attention from anyone passing by! The beautiful Chrome wheels grab the sunlight and SHINE. Wrapped in 4 brand new white wall tires, the wheel and tire package on this car is perfect! The body of the car appears to be straight and true, with only a few minor imperfections that one would expect on a 2003 model year car, yet well above average condition for any '03. The paint on this car glistens in the sun, and reflects a beautiful pearl tone. The interior is about as fresh as they get. The leather wrapped wheel is so pure you can feel the grain and stitching like it was in '03. The car was owned by a non smoker, and the interior smells just like it should. Under the hood is the work horse 4.6L V8 that has been a staple for Town Cars since '91. The drivelines of these cars are truly time tested, and are bullet proofed to take hundreds of thousands of miles of use with ease. Most would say at only 65k miles, this car is not even broken in. You can see all the factory quality control marks still present under the hood. If you open up the trunk you will see an original trunk cargo organizer, and a trunk mounted CD changer on the left. This is a beautiful example of this vintage Town Car, and the demand is rapidly rising as these cars are becoming scarcer. They have not and will not make anything like this again in Detroit, which is a real shame. Having survived 14 years of life as beautiful as it is, please note some minor defects. There is a minor parking lot ding on the right rear wheel arch just above the rear bumper. The "R" in "Town Car" on the trunk lid is missing. Somehow very common on these! But that is OK, it fits right in here in Boston, we don’t pronounce the "R" in cahhhh anyways. The rubber trim around the windshield is pulled tight on both upper corners. There are no leaks or wind noise; I think this is just cosmetic. There are a few pen tip sized chips touched up on the door molding on the drivers’ front door edge. On the top edge of the rear bumper where the trunk lid rests, there is a minor spot where it has worn the pain down. These are the few odd marks I have noticed. Keep in mind the age and the fact that it was a daily used auto, as there may be other superficial marks here or there. The car comes with the original owners manuals, leather case, 1 master key and remote (needs a new battery), 3 floor mats (passengers side front was AWOL before me getting the car), and the CD changer magazine. The car starts, runs, and drives just as it should. It is smooth and quite on the highways and side streets. It does what it should, when it is supposed to do it! I have put exactly 200 miles on it and it has been nothing short of a joy to drive. Bid with confidence!
