1996 Lincoln HEARSE Description

BEAUTIFUL 1996 LINCOLN SUPERIOR HEARSE - YES THE STACKS ARE REAL
This car is in excellent condition. It has always been garage kept. It only has 49,083 original miles which is only 2,455 miles a year.
I've had older hearses from the 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's, but it seems they often need constant attention. And when it comes to parts, they are hard to find and expensive if you do find them.
When we do a custom build on newer hearses it's a lot less hassle. They drive nice, the air is nice and cold, they can idle in traffic for hours without overheating or loading up.
If you do need a part, it's readily available and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
These Lincoln hearses are great cars. They are based on the Lincoln Town Car and will run forever. With the 4.6 L V8, this car has great power on the road, and surprisingly excellent gas mileage for a hearse at 21 MPG.
Of all the hearses I've had, Superior has always been the best. They are well built and properly assembled.
Paint & body - Excellent condition.
Vinyl top - Excellent condition. Also, keep in mind that this hearse has a fiberglass roof, so it never was, nor never will be, in any danger of any type of rust or corrosion.
Upholstery front and back - Excellent condition.
Carpeting - Excellent condition.
Padded dash and door panels front and back - Excellent condition.
Headliner front & back - Excellent condition.
Air conditioning - Excellent condition - ice cold
4.6 L V8 engine - Excellent condition - Let's start off with the stacks, Yes they are real, and they are functional. This cold air induction system is mounted directly to the engine and sticks thru the hood, feeding cold air to a K&N filter and thru a low restriction induction system to the fuel injection system. The system is designed to function even in pouring rain with absolutely no problems. The engine also features a custom low restriction dual exhaust system with polished stainless steel tail pipes and polished skull exhaust tips.
Transmission & rear end - Excellent condition.
For the wheels I chose the Old School chrome rims in 18" X 8" chrome.
The tires are 235 X 60 X 18 and they ride like a dream compared to 20" tires. They have less than 700 miles on them.
Have you ever had anyone drive behind you at night with their bright lights on ? I have designed a special treat for them. At the touch of a button, a skeleton hand with the middle finger extended will appear from under the car and pop up in front of your license plate. Touch the button again and the hand retracts and goes back out of sight under the car.
At night, a simple flip of a switch lights up green LED lights in the rear side windows and the rear hatch window showing the Lucky Stiff signs and the skeletons.
Other custom pieces include:
Hand made custom skull molded into the rear hatch door and blended in to look like the skull is actually stretching the steel of the car as it is trying to "COME FOR YOU"
Custom modified hood scoop with HELLRAISER V8 chrome lettering
One off custom laser cut polished stainless steel 52" flames mounted to the hood before the scoop was placed on them
Aluminum skeleton arm bone with hand interior door handles
GHOST RIDER lettering on the sides of the coach
GHOST RIDER skull with wings on sides of the coach, on the rear hatch door, and in the driver's compartment on the partition dividing the front and the back areas
Flying Skeleton hood ornament
Skeleton hands coming out of the body of the car to hold the mirrors
Grim Reaper front fender emblems
The side windows and rear window feature waving skeletons that light up at night with a green glow
Bat winged skull on the inside of the coach divider facing the back of the coach
Two Grim Reapers holding lighted globes stand guard over the coffin area
The sides of the coffin compartment feature 4 Gothic style winged skulls, along with the skulls and hands of two skeletons that are coming thru the walls
Custom landau bar includes skull center piece and skull end caps
Rear skulls mounted on the back of the vinyl top with red led light up eyes
Custom cut & hand fitted all steel spider webs mounted on the rear/side door windows and rear hatch door window
Custom machined chrome plated billet aluminum "I COME FOR YOU" wing emblem with custom cast chrome skull center on rear hatch door
Custom cast polished aluminum skulls with lighted eyes are mounted on either side of the rear hatch door
Polished skulls spout the mellow rumble from the dual exhaust
The coffin in the back is just a prop, it is not a real wooden coffin. However at the touch of a button it does "shake" and a voice from inside begging to be let out.
