1965 Lincoln Continental NO RESERVE! Description

1965 Lincoln

Up for sale is my beautiful and 1965 Lincoln Continental Sedan. Perfect example of an original, rust-free California classic that's never left the state. Original set of 1960’s CA black/gold licence plates. Car has never left the state, always been stored indoors, and only driven on sunny days.. I am the third owner to the car and it has always been very well cared for. It has just over 20k miles on rebuilt factory powertrain and still drives like the day it rolled off the assembly line. Clean CA title in hand ready to be transferred to new owner. Get ready to turn heads everywhere behind the wheel of this beauty.

The Lincoln comes equipped with the original 430ci big block engine and 3-speed automatic transmission. Runs excellent and shifts smooth into all gears. It has lots of power and picks up fairly quick for such a large car (320hp / 465 lb-ft). Everything in the engine bay is fairly stock aside from a couple recent upgrades like a Pertronix ignition system for instant starting on cold mornings, also has an aftermarker air cleaner, and higher amp alternator. The suspension, power steering, and power brakes all work excellent and the car feels safe at any speed. Car was dropped a couple inches to give it that lowered stance. It’s not too low where you cant drive over speed bumps and dips like other lowered cars. It has the factory 15” wheels & hubcaps with newer whitewall tires. No squeaks or rattles when driving and the power-train runs very smooth as any Lincoln should. The interior was all done a couple months ago and it included new seat upholstery, interior carpet, door panels, dash detail, trunk carpet, and headliner. Still has original dash pad with no cracks which is very common on these cars. The Lincolnwas painted about 2 years ago in a nice two-stage black color that looks nice from any angle. As I mentioned before, it has all original rust-free sheet metal throughout and it’s never been in an accident. Original glass all around in great shape as well. All 6 power windows work fine (rebuilt window motors recently). Most of the chrome trim is original but some things have been rechromed like the door handles, emblems, and a few other misc moldings.

This beauty turns heads and gets thumbs up wherever I drive it. If you don't like being the center of attention when you're out on the road then this car is not for you. Lincoln is available for inspection by any bidder during the course of this auction, just message me with your phone number and I will call you to set up an appointment. As all other classic cars it is being sold in AS IS condition. Please ask questions if you are unsure of anything prior to bidding. This is a NO RESERVE listing and the car will go to the highest bidder no matter what. View my feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for viewing my listing

*I've added a few more pictures of the undercarriage and a couple of the stampedvin # in engine bay as well as the door tag. I forgot to mention the suspension has new bushings and there's a dual exhaust flame thrower system that's been disconnected but can easily be hooked back up again. Thanks
