2008 Lotus Exige S 240 Coupe 2-Door Description

Lusso Fine Motorcars is pleased to present this ultra rare 1 out of 164, tastefully modified 2008 Lotus Exige S240. Featured in Persian Blue, the Exige came to us from a local Lotus club member and has been well maintained, serviced its entire life

Exterior. Upon its arrival The Lotus received our signature paint correction detail and the original Persian Blue paint shows exceptionally well with only minor blemishes in the factory Starshield protection film thats normall for a car of this age. the Exige sits on a set of rare Sector111 StellaCorsa 16/17" Staggered wheels wrapped in fresh Dunlap Dirrezza tires. Even though in the photos the 2 center caps are missing, they are included with the car. A Reverie 3-Element Carbon Fiber piece diffuser rounds out the unique look.

Interior. This Roadster features the factory leather manually adjusted seats that show very minimal wear and is a perfect example of how well maintained and cared for this car is. Lotus designed the Exige S240 to be the ultimate track purpose street car, but this particular example was ordered with the Touring Pack which offers sound insulation, upgraded stereo and leather seats. The car also features the Factory installed harness bar that comes included in the Track Pack. A Pioneer Bluetooth head unit replaced the original, and the original steering wheel was tastefully rewrapped in Alcantara w/blue stitching &yellow stripe.

Performance. This is where the Exige is set apart from the rest and diehard car collectors may cry and sob while real enthusiasts will be full of joy! Although the the original supercharged 1.8L 2ZZ-GE engine and transmission was left completely unmodified, Dietsch Motorsports got their hands on the car and installed the most crucial pieces on making the car more reliable and easier to drive over stock. The quickest difference is felt through the Sector111 trans cables as most know the stock shifter feels loose and fragile. The original coilovers were replaced with Lotus Sport Cup 3-Way Ohlins, the original radiator swapped out with Sector111 ProRad aluminum unit to keep the temps cool. The stock oil pan was ditched for a baffled gPAN3, and a RLS intercooler heat shield was installed to prevent heat soaking. The list goes on, but the intention stays strong on maximizing the Exige platforms potential without ever sacrificing reliability. Records show all regular maintenance services being done throughout its life and the Oil Line recall being done by Galpin Lotus in May of 2015. The engine and transmission have no signs of any leaks and car runs and drives better than any stock exige!!

This very well kept and ultra tastefully modified rare Exige comes with the original books, factory tool kit, Lotus Car cover, Service Records and clean carfax and is one of the best examples on what a true Lotus Exige is about!
