1969 Lotus Other Description

Here's an unusual opportunity to get a great running & driving Lotus for little more than the price of the engine alone! This Elan +2 was the object of passion for it's prior owner. He installed a new wishbone frame and the Ford-Cosworth 4-valve 1700 BDR motor. Neither of these items has much time on them and as such the car runs, handles and stops very well. This is an extraordinary motor to have in a production car. It was not built to race car specs and therefore does not have crazy compression or cams. Rather, this is a lovely road going engine and can be enjoyed in a very well balanced sports car. Everything works as it should.
