2005 Lotus Elise Base Convertible 2-Door 1.8L
2005 Lotus Elise Base Convertible 2-Door Description
Mileage is 54,xxx. I am still enjoying the car while it's up for sale, so the mileage isn't static.
- Matched hard top (soft top not included)
- Vision Function exhaust (needs a good detailing)
- OEM spec Yokohama Advan Neova tires 8/2013 about 30%+ tread life on rear
- EBC rotors, StopTech pads, and painted black calipers 4/2014
- Odyssey battery and bracket, custom plate and mounting (8/2014)
- Kenwood kvt-696 and a 10 inch JL audio sub and amp (sub is currently out, but it goes with the car; fits in passenger footwell -- a $500 upgrade)
- Desnorkel intake
- HID headlights, LED marker lights, Headlight seal/trim delete mod and lenses buffed (they aren't like brand new, but are good for a +10 year old car with this mileage on it)
- Oil line recall completed 5/2013
- NOAH car cover in great shape included.
It's not a garage queen, but it has received proper care while in my custody, particularly mechanical. Wheels have some mild curbing which is aesthetic only. Typical scratches under the nose.Rocker panels have been replaced -- one had old damage from a previous owner and the other got cracked when backed into at 2 mph by someone in a parking lot summer 2016; had both replaced at the same time by Mulholland Motorsports (local Lotus experts).
The only major mechanical issue, IMO, is the air conditioning does not work and never has while I have owned it. Compressor does not come on. Fan works on high setting only (but I have the replacement part for this and will include in sale).
The driver's seat is raised at the rear by nearly one inch. Spacers are easily removed by you if you don't like/need them. Not included: dascham and wiring, multiport power outlet all of which are on non-permanent mounts in the car.
The title is NOT salvage or rebuilt. My local credit union holds title because I got a loan when I bought it. NO the loan is NOT transferable or assumable.
Prefer local buyer.
