2005 Maserati Quattroporte Description

Offered for your consideration is my 2005 Maserati Quattroporte finished in Grigio Alfieri exterior over Grigio Chiaro interior. The car has 75,650 miles on it and the engine and transmission both perform flawlessly. The exterior and interior are both in good condition for their age, this is a not a concourse car but people do mistake it for a new model frequently. I have added the 20” OEM Maserati wheels from the Sport GT because I prefer the look. The car has been lowered approximately 2” by using the stock coilovers to achieve a more aesthetically pleasing stance. Lastly, the rear mufflers have been opened up and gutted to unlock the beautiful sound of the 4.2L Ferrari built engine.

The car is being sold as-is for no reserve because of the following mechanical issues. Two years ago I tapped someone from behind at stop sign and broke the driver’s side headlight. After replacing the entire headlight assembly, I haven’t been able to get the HID low beam to work. There are also some scratches under the headlight that you can see in the close up picture. The other issue is that the Suspension/ABS/Traction Control warning lights come on after the car is drivenfor the first time each day after it runs for about 5 to 10 minutes. If you restart the car the lights then stay off for the rest of the day.A local independent Ferrari/Maserati shop has told me that I should replace the struts to make this error go away. I haven’t done this because I believe the problem is the sensor and not the strut. The car drives perfectly fine with both of these issues and so I was not in a rush to address them. I have a few other cars that I drive more and I’m letting this one go to focus on other interests.

Feel free to contact me to set up a time to come view the car before the auction ends. Thanks for looking.
