1986 Maserati Spyder Convertible BiTurbo Description

Pre-owned 1986 Maserati BiTurbo Spyder Zagato Convertible for sale. Garage kept. Two owners, father & son. Leather conditioned annually. Pride of ownership displayed. Body is in very good condition. 31,014 is actual mileage. Falcon Seiberling Sport HR P205/60R14 tires have 8/32" remain, no cracking. Blown motor was replaced. Turbos were reconfigured for water cooling. Currently not operating. Will require at least battery, new fluids and hood struts. Gas & trunk release must be manually operated. One turbo was slowly dripping, uncertain if gasket has further deteriorated. Reason for selling is that we are moving and will not have room. Nice antique car.

Added Nov.3. I looked at the car carefully and want to add everything I know about the car. I am a big believer in "no surprises." The padding under the bonnet is deteriorating. Minor rust is starting at the bottom of both door. The undercarriage appear in very good condition. The windshield is changing somehow. Look at the photos. It is not fogged and does not impede vision from the inside. The passenger side of the top hold down is starting to pull out. Three of the rims have zero rash. One has between 6 to 8 inches of rash. It is not very noticeable. I had to rub my fingers on it to tell if it was rash. The black on the rims is dirt and will polish away. The rims top clear coat is deteriorating. See the white spots on the rims in the photos. The trunk release lever wasremoved by a mechanic to get motor parts in the trunk in stead of just asking me for the key! He never replaced it. There is minor rust on the inside of the exhaust pipes.
