2009 Maserati F-1 MC GranTurismo S Description Here is some clarification as MOST dealers are listing the wrong car and they don't know it. Lowest on the ladder is 4.2 Gran Turismo, 4.2 liter V8 with 405 Hp, no body kit and quad tail pipe. This is the base model with the automatic transmission. Next up is Gran Turismo S with 4.7 engine but still no body kit and quad pipe but with a tiny 4.7 badge on the bac, it is a car made up with left over engine put in a non S body. Then we have the S with quad pipe, 4.7 engine and body kit but a regular automatic transmission with paddles on the steering for decoration as none of the previous 3 models have a real F-1 transmission. Then, last but not least, we have the F-1 S with all the S body parts including tail spoiler, side skirt, and the real robotic, F-1 transmission, LARGER 14.2 Vs 13 INCH FRONT BRAKE ROTOR, ALUMINUM CALIPERS TO REDUCE UNSPRUNG WEIGHT, 10% STIFFER SRPINGS, SKYHOOK electronic suspension, driver adjustable exhaust for the extra oomph that announces there is a real Exotic car collector in the house. You can see it does not have a stick shifter in the middle of the console. This one IS THE REAL LIMITED PRODUCTION F-1 S WHICH IS A TRUE COLLECTOR CAR AND ALSO THE FASTED AND MOST FUN . It has been called the Gran Turismo S with robotic shift, paddle shift, auto-manual that came right out of a Ferrari 599......the fact i, this is the fastest and most efficient transmission ever offered on any year Gran Turismo as it does have double plate clutch that is actuated by computer control servo motors that replaced your left foot's function on the clutch so you no longer have to worry about your left foot. It shifts with a touch of your finger and because it does not have a torque converter that weighs a hundred pounds wet and robs power due to the nature of the beast. This is the quickest and most responsive Maserati Gran Turismo because it not only transfer more power to the rear wheels, it also shifts faster than Michael Schumacher ( 100 MILLISECOND). 299 was the total production number of this car and you can count on half if not more are either taken apar, stolen or in some stage of non op. That is what makes this a rare car and one of the more expensive versions with a sticker of $144K even back in 2009. One of the best endorsement i have ever heard was from the Ferrari/Maserati dealer's head mechanic who told me " this is the only Gran Turismo i will own for myself" . Now what more do i need to say? FYI it does have auto mode so if your fingers are too tired to touch the paddle shifter, it will even do it on it's OWN!!!Now about this car, 2 owner clean carfax cmes with mats, books, air pump tool kit and 1 master key. COMPLETE SERVICE DONE WITH OILL FILTER, AIR FILTER, CABIN FILTER, WIPER BLADES,BRAKE FLUID FLUSH, RAIDATOR FLUSH, DRIVE BELT INSPECTED, ALIGNMENT DONE WITH NEW TPMS SENSORS, NEW CENTER WHEEL CAPS, NO WHEEL RASH, NO DOOR DINGS AND MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL VARIO CAM CHECKED AND CLUTCH WEAR IS AT 31% SO LOTS OF LIFE LEFT.
