As their premier GT car, the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale stands as a showcase of Italian craftsmanship. Sharing the same engine and chassis as the Ferrari California, Maserati is the practical and classy convertible. At their core, Maserati takes the best qualities of Italian craftsmanship to build traditional luxury cars. Hand sewn leather and wood can be found throughout their lineup, but this car was ordered with performance in mind. Stradale is Italian for Road, and it is reserved for their flagship models. The 4.7L V8 is a larger version of the Ferrari 4.3L found in the California. It makes 454 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. If you need to reach 190 mph, race mode will lower the suspension, stiffen the steering and open the exhausts. Zero to 62 mph arrives in 4.5 seconds thanks to being lighter and more powerful than any of its predecessors. Only a few MC Stradale Convertibles are produced each year, so this car deserves a loving home.

It can be difficult to draw the line between comfortable cruiser and track ready racer, but subtle clues to this car's abilities can be found throughout. In order to fit wider 20" wheels, Maserati flared the fenders in order to fit semi-slick race tires. Measuring 255/35/20 front and 295/ 30/20 on the rear, you will have more grip than almost anything on the road. Not just for looks, the rocker panels and rear spoiler create downforce in order to keep you planted at high speeds. In normal mode the exhaust doesn't open until higher RPM, but in Race mode it opens just off idle. With a soundtrack unmatched in the automotive world, you won't need the 11 speaker Bose audio system. The Trofeo Package is named for the Trofeo racing series, and includes the carbon fiber hood, spoilers and rear diffuser used on the race cars. Carbon fiber is also found on the interior for a brilliant contrast to theRosso Corallo leather. Both the interior and exterior were custom ordered, so you won't find another in this combination. You have an opportunity for the power and engineering of Ferrari without the associated stereotypes. With only 812 miles on the odometer, rest assured you are getting a bargain at this price.
