2008 Mazda MX-5 Miata GT Marble White MT with roll bar & hidden hitch receiver
2008 Mazda MX-5 Miata Description
I have acquired a fourth-gen Miata so it's time to find a new home for my tried-and-true third-gen 2008 Miata. It is a six-speed manual transmission model with 76K miles. This car runs and drives great and is in superb condition. It has been well-maintained and has been garaged since I acquired it in August 2011. I am the second owner. This vehicle has never been in an accident or been tracked or raced. The title is free and clear. It has Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), an important safety feature that became standard in the U.S. on all 2012 and later vehicles. One should never purchase a pre-2012 vehicle that lacks DSC!
This Miata is available for test drives and pre-purchase inspections!!
- This Miata is loaded! It is a Grand Touring model with a Premium Package, which means that it has these features that lesser 2006-2008 Miata trims and many other 2006-2008 Grand Touring models do not have:
* Xenon HID headlights
* Dynamic Stability Control with Traction Control System
* Advanced Keyless Entry System
It also has these aftermarket add-ons and upgrades (and is otherwise stock):
* a Hard Dog non-SCCA roll bar (M3 Sport model)
* a Hard Dog hidden 1.25" hitch receiver (sorry, no known hitch class or weight rating--it is bolted to the vehicle's frame and does fine for light loads appropriate for a roadster)
* an upgraded head unit—see details below - This Miata has recently undergone, and passed, a Maryland Safety Inspection! (Note: This vehicle is being sold AS IS.)
* This vehicle comes with a current Maryland Safety Inspection certificate. Note that such a certificate is required in order to register a used vehicle in the State of Maryland. There is no need for the buyer to obtain this certificate post-purchase.
* For an informal explanation of what such an inspection entails, see http://www.agapeauto.com/marylandstateinspection/a-checklist-to-pass-the-maryland-vehicle-state-inspection/
- Features in addition to those listed above:
* Marble White exterior paint with matching side mirrors
* Tan cloth soft top
* Leather bucket seats, Saddle Tan color
* Leather-wrapped tilt steering wheel
* 2.0 liter fuel injected, double overhead cam 16-valve I4 VVT engine
* Silver metallic alloy wheels
* 6-speed manual gearbox
* A/C
* Steering wheel controls for cruise control (but not for audio—see below)
* Power windows, locks, steering, brakes
* Fog lights
* Tire-Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
* Engine-immobilizer antitheft system
* Side-impact airbags
* Heated seats
* K&N air filter
- Upgraded head unit:
The factory head unit was replaced by a BOSS model VB9364B Bluetooth® DVD/MP3/CD AM/FM receiver head unit in January 2016. This unit has a 6.2" widescreen touchscreen monitor. Watch a movie, tune in a radio station, play music from your phone by BT or cable, load a CD or a USB stick with MP3 files or have a hands-free telephone conversation! One drawback, however...due to cost considerations I did not integrate the factory steering wheel audio controls with the new head unit. There are devices that can do the necessary control translation if a subsequent owner wishes to render these controls functional again.

* Cosmetic imperfections typical of a vehicle its age are present, including a wear mark on the driver's leather seat.
