2003 Mazda MX-5 Miata Special Edition
I became the 3rd owner of this car when I bought it with 73,XXX miles on it. I wanted something fun to commute in that was also cheap to maintain and insure.I am a car enthusiast and a mechanical engineer who has taken very good care of this car.My wife recently purchased a BMW Z4, therefore I can no longer justify keeping this as a fun car.
This is a rare special edition model that boasts a beautiful Strato Blue Mica exterior and gray leather interior. The paint is in great condition, but has minor nicks on the front bumper, hood and trunk, is missing the trunk carpeting, sun visors and the E-brake cover. Also, the E-brake button sticks sometimes (just needs to be pulled out if you press it in hard).
Mechanically speaking, the car is in good condition and everything works! I put a pair of Dunlop Direzza DZ102 Ultra High Performance Summer tires on it about 15,000 miles ago. They still have good tread left. It rides smooth and grips like a champ!
Overall, great condition for its age! The paint is still beautiful and the engine is very smooth and reliable. Cranks every-time! Cold A/C, clean history, no accidents!
