1999 Mazda MX-5 Miata Description

1999 Mazda Miata with 113k miles, setup for Track/HPDE use.
Car was converted in 2011, and has run 16 events since then. It's healthy, runs very strong and has a strong clutch.
It is a great, affordable, reliable, and easy to manage car for getting out on the track, having some fun and honing those driving skills. I'm not thrilled at the idea of re-homing the Miata, but both a shortage of time, and surplus of home maintenance are limiting my sensible options.
The car is close to turn-key for what it is. It will likely need a new battery, but it jump-starts no problem when I've had to move it in/out of storage, and re-starts under it's own power for a while after running, but it's no spring chicken. It will need a new set of track tires, the current set are both worn and aged.
The car does have a rear-quarter dent that has received a rough-repair and quick spray to help hide.
There is some rocker rust, but most noticeable on the drivers side where the bubbled paint is about the size of a hand. It could be repaired but doesn't impact this otherwise clean car for it's intended use.
The car does come with the AIM SOLO lap timer system. This is dash mounted and removable via the built-in magnet. Cables/accessories included. This is the $400 version.

The car does have a clear title (in previous owners name) but is not titled by myself for reasons of sales and property tax here in MO. I am happy to pass along the paperwork to the next owner but I can't speak to the process or eligibility to title it in your state. This has been a non-street vehicle, non-titled track-only car for some time now and is being sold as such with no guarantee or expectation that you can legally title or operate this on public roadways. Also note that the autocheck shows a small mileage discrepancy which is a result of the owner out of state in FL, guessing at the mileage during a transfer into and later out of his brothers name while the car was in storage back in PA.

The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
