1995 Mazda MX-5 Miata Description

PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING!
Up for NO RESERVE bidding is a 1995 Mazda MX-5, white on tan with a tan top.
The mechanicals have been regularly maintained during my ownership and the car runs and drives very well EXCEPT: The transmission slips for unknown reasons, but there is a warning light that has come on simultaneously that says hold. The car could be driven onto a trailer but I'm not sure I'd trust it further than that. But the engine is strong, the brakes work and the suspension handles just as you would expect. The AC does need to be charged. The tires are fairly new and don't have many miles on them at all. The transmission could need a fluid change or a whole new transmission. I would fix it myself but I have another project that has taken up all of my attention and garage space.
Body is in fair condition, no rust on the outside of the body, underside condition unknown, but it has been garaged and not driven in the winter since 2000 when I took ownership of it. The newer top with glass rear window is only about three years old. Some clear coat is peeling off, but the body is otherwise fairly straight with only minor dings and scratches.
Interior is in fair condition with what I consider to be usual wear for a vehicle of this mileage. Everything works inside. I did not take any pictures of the interior but I can send them to a bidders phone or email upon request along with any other pictures they may want to see of the car.
Car is sold as is where is. Buyer will arrange shipping from the address where the car is stored. Buyer will pay $500 deposit within 24 hours of the auctions end through paypal. The remainder if any will be accepted as cash or through paypal and will be due within 7 days or before the car leaves on a transport, I would not recommend the car be driven more than a few miles due to the transmission issue. Car is located in Hamden, CT.
