1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata Monster Description

1990 Mazda Miata, BMW Z3 Trim Kit Cobra sounding American Muscle. This is a meticulously engineered and constructed blend of all cultures and continents. What you are looking at is a combination of Japanese - German - American muscle sportscar creating todays Cobra, Sunbeam Tiger or MGB. The principal is to take a respected reliable Japanese roadster with the beautiful lines of a BMW Z3 and add good old American muscle. Here is a car that you can drive as it has real windows that roll up with a defroster and A/C that works with the push of the original in dash button. There is also a stereo that you can listen to music or enjoy the therapeutic rumble of the exhaust. Look over the photo's this car is immaculate from top to bottom inside and out. The original engine was removed and replaced with a rebuilt GMC 3.1L V6 that was bored, stroked, balanced, blue printed with an Eagle Cam and Edelbrock intake. It's coupled to a Camaro T5 5 speed transmission topped off with a custom 5 speed shifter leading down to a 4.10 positraction rear from a Mazda RX7. Notice the custom made Headman Headers to a dual exhaust that exits out the middle of the rear valance. The exhaust has a deep-throated cam sound but is not objectionably loud. The car accelerates strongly from any speed and brakes like a modern performance car. Everything works properly, the fuel gauge, tachometer, speedometer, oil pressure gauge, a/c, and heat when needed. The interior looks and feels comfortable to any size frame with plenty of leg and arm room. The entire nose is fiberglass so it should weigh in at around 2,000lbs. Tens of thousands were spent to create this classic looking BMW Z3 sports car with the reliability of a Mazda Miata and simplicity of a Chevrolet. So dare to be different and enjoy this amazing car at a fraction of what it cost to build.
