2007 Mazda Mazda6 Sport Description

I am the original owner and have babied this 6s. In fact, I love it so much, I bought it at the end of my lease. The "RedFire" metallic paint and upholstery are like new, it's been professionally detailed, the tires replaced recently with OEM spec Michelins, the wheels are satin smooth with no curb rash, and the car is free of squeaks. Despite 75,000 miles on the odometer, it's looks and feels like it was new. With leather, heated front seats and moonroof, the car is nicely equipped. Dealer installed Mazda accessories include auto-dimming rear view mirror with compass and AutoLink garage door opener, rubber floor mats and molded rubber trunk liner.
The engine is the Mazda spec version of the Cleveland (Ford) 24v V6 that has been improved and acclaimed every year since it's intro in the '95 Mondeo. And Mazda did it right! This car has the sweetest engine and transmission calibration I've ever driven. It feels like a 12 speed with the lockup torque converter in each gear dropping rpm a little bit half way through each gear as you pick up speed. Shifts are crisp but silky smooth. You can induce an upshift with merely a thought, and it holds the gear even if you give it more gas. It never double shifts and with the manual override engaged, will hold any gear until you tap the shifter. Controls fall naturally to hand like they should in a driver's car.
