1979 would be the first production year for Madza's RX7. This example is in incredible original condition inside & out. The exterior wears the original Marguerite White paint with gold pinstripe. This car has been kept out of the elements its entire life and it shows. There are some paint chips across the front bumper but overall a very well preserved finish.

The RX7 was known for its near perfect 50/50 weight distribution. It had a top speed of 118 mph and is a blast to drive with its factory-optioned 5-speed manual transmission (see video)

The interior displays the original burgundy cloth & vinyl in exceptional condition. The dash and door panels are in excellent shape as is the seat upholstery. The carpeting is in good condition as well. The hatch rear upholstery piece will need attention to adhere it in someway (see video) The gauges are original and in place. This was originally an air conditioning car and many of the components are now missing. The A/C does not work.

Under the hood is the Wankel Rotary engine. This powerplant had a recent professional tune-up done and the fuel pump was replaced. The engine bay displays original sheetmetal throughout the firewall, inner fenders and core support. The engine & chassis identification plate is also in place.

The undercarriage further reiterates the dry climate condition of this Mazda RX7, displays original structure and flooring throughout. Enjoy the remaining photos and again feel free to contact myself, Sam, at 972-748-6389 with any questions or concerns.
