I'd love to keep the rare car but, too many projects going on. Selling the car as is.
Car has always had it's routinely scheduled maintenance and any issues fixed until the engine started knocking. Happened over the summer and the car has been parked since the day it started. I thought I would get the chance to play with it and fix myself but, haven't had the time. A couple mechanics opinions, "it sounds like its a valve or a loose chain kind of knock but, anything is a guess". The car still starts and it can be driven. To add insult to injury, the person cleaning the car for me broke the one pin on the dashboard glove compartment so it doesn't sit right. They bought a replacement one but haven't installed it as of yet. Aside from that, there's a little bit of rust over the driver side rear wheel well. You can see it a bit in the picture.
Last checked, less than 10,000 of these were shipped into North America. An estimated 50% percent were put out in Silver/Gray colors. Although it's one of the more common colors, only about 3,000 out of the 10,000 were Grand Touring's with the option of a moon roof added. It's estimated that only 1,500 of the exact model listed were sold in the North American region. Take into account how many have probably been wrecked between then and now, there's not too many of these left. The chances of passing by another one like it are slim, let alone it being the exact same color and model. At this rate, this make and model is definitely looking like being a collectible at some point and much as I would love to hold on to it, I'm just not at that stage of life right now.
