ONLY 43,343 ORIGINAL MILES

These RX-7's are becoming more and more difficult to find in original condition, most have been heavily modified with aftermarket turbos and exhaust, etc. and that's cool, just not for everyone. This car here is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but it is original aside from one nice quality refinish, no performance parts, no big loud exhaust, no big stereo systems or alarms and no suspension modifications. The car is nice and straight with absolutely no corrosion, it's in great shape and ready to go if you are looking for a nice driver or a car you want to freshen up and make a real show-stopper, it just needs a few small things to be like new. Please have a look at the photos below, there are several of the undercarriage and suspension/brake components to show how clean, rust free and un-tampered with this car really is.

The body of the car is fantastic, the car was professionally refinished a couple years ago, aside from a 1/2 dime sized ship on the passenger door edge and a couple of very insignificant blemishes on the front nose, the car looks incredible, just as nice in person as in photos, the red paint is shiny and glossy, no dings, dents or scratches, not even a stone chip on the front. The black paint around the rear hatch glass has a few imperfections which can easily be remedied but it's not a real issue. Glass is excellent, clear all the way around, windshield is nice. Tires have quite a bit of tread but they are older and need to be replaced as they have some dryness. I did not bother to replace those as I don't know what your taste may be, it would be a waste of money to put something on that was not in your taste or part of your plan to upgrade the wheels and tires so to keep the price down I am leaving that up to the new owner. Factory alloy wheels are intact and show decently. The power antenna is in the upright position, it worked when I first got the car, it does not now so maybe something small but it's all intact. All lights and lenses are in good shape and are functional including the fog lamps.

The interior is quite nice as far as it is very clean and has not been smoked in so it smells nice. Door panels, headliner, carpets, etc. are in great shape, the dashboard is not, there are a few splits in it and it has been sun damaged so there is a carpeted cover to conceal that, it is totally fine the way it is but plan on replacing the dash pad if you are striving for more perfection inside. The factory radio is all there and it is functional, the EQ display sort of lights up and you can kind of see it, it does work, just difficult to see. The sunroof has power and moves but is not properly functional, nor are the signal lamps, the switch and everything are there but no response. Interior lighting on the dash appears to work, the hatch struts are strong and hold up the rear glass. There is a Pioneer CD changer in the back and the controller is in the glove box, it will need to be reattached to the cable behind the radio if it is to work. Gauges are all functional as are the power windows, power mirrors etc. A/C does work, it does have a leak in the line up top by the firewall but compressor is good, I have charged it and turned it on. Like I said, it needs a few small things to be really nice but it is all there for you.

Mechanically this car is a champ with the low miles. It drives well (aside from needing new tires), engine is smooth and quiet, no strange noises or leaks, transmission shifts properly and the car is really fun to drive as well as be seen in, it's a conversation piece at the gas station for sure.

I am asking $5450 for this now classic RX-7, I firmly believe that it's worth that even though the car needs a few things to be really nice, at the very least there is zero rust and it runs well. I am happy to assist with transport or provide free airport pickup if you wish to fly in and drive it home. I would absolutely get in this car and drive it anywhere as I am that confident in it mechanically but please remember you should replace the tires prior to making a trip and I can assist in getting that all done for you. Feel free to call me at (602)315-4055 with any questions. Thanks for looking at my RX-7!
