2010 Mazda MX-5 Miata - 6,800 original miles; Like New
I have included a pic of the NADA price guide. Clean retail is $16,500. I am starting this auction at $14,500. This car is above and beyond clean retail. It isnext to new.You will not find a cleaner MX-5. This is a like-new car for a fraction of a new MX-5.
As you can see, I am selling my MX-5. I have owned this car for nearly three years. I purchased it from a local dealership with approximately 3,600 miles on it. I have driven this car only on sunny, dry days. It has not been driven in the snow. It has never even been driven in weather below 60 degrees. It has never been driven in the rainand has been garaged at all times with the custom cover on it. Yeah, yeah, I know, my wife tells me the same thing.
It runs and drives like new and has never been wrecked or in need of any repair.
I do not own this outright as I still owe money to the bank. That said, any transaction that occurs will have to involve my bank.
Check the pictures. It really is flawless and showroom clean. No scratches, no dings, no funny smells or engine drips. The Yokohama tires are as good as new, it has never been smoked in, it has always been adult owned and never beaten. The car is entirely original with the exception of the battery which I replaced in April, 2016. I keep the seats covered with matching seat covers and I also keep separate rubber floor mats over the originals to protect them. I have removed them for some of the pictures. Yeah, yeah, I know, my wife says the same thing. What can I say, I like to keep my nice things nice.
As noted, it will come all original, including the car cover, the original air pump, tool kit and manual.
If you live local, you can check it out in person if you wish. However, there will be no joy rides whatsoever.
Please do not bid if you do not intend on carrying out the transaction.
Please ask any questions you may have.
If you area scammer, don't waste your time. This vehicle will not leave my garage until cash is paid or until payment clears my personal bank. As stated, I do not possess the title. Upon payment, I will settle with the bank and have the title mailed to you. If you pay cash in full, you can take the vehicle and hold until the title is mailed to you. Otherwise, the vehicle will stay in my garage until payment clears. I will provide you with a bill of sale.
As a clarification: If you check the vehicle history it shows loan/lien. I do still owe on this vehicle but there is no danger of repossession. It is paid monthly on time and always has been. I believe history report is simply saying that a bank holds the title, and that is true.
I am adding a few answers to some questions I have been receiving:
1. This car gets 29-30 mpg city and 34-36 mpg highway with a conservative driver such as myself.
2. The process for me getting the title from the bank consist of me paying them the balance owed and then I would simply have to wait for them to send me the title. I don't know the process they have to go through but I cannot imagine it would take longer than a week or two.
3. The paint is bright red and the top is black. There is no fading whatsoever. The top is in new condition.Any variation in color you may be seeing is due to the photograph.
Thanks for the questions.
