2005 Red Mazda RX-8. Runs w/ low compression. NR
2005 Mazda RX-8 Sport Description
I'm the original owner. I bought it new in 2005 and it has a clean title.
This is the second engine, I had the original engine replaced at 93,000 miles under warranty. It has low compression on one rotor, the other rotor is normal compression and it still runs and drives. Because of that, it's slow on take-off, but drives ok; I even still drive it to work.
The body is in great shape! There are a couple of minor dings and scratches. The only major damage is right below the driver side door where my wheelchair would hit when I was getting in and out. It had a couple of super minor rear endings, but nothing bad enough to need to be painted or repaired.
The interior is pretty beat up because I use a wheelchair and putting it in and out of the car for 11+ years takes its toll.
I do have a 2-Din Pioneer head unit installed with bluetooth audio. I have Alpine component speakers installed in the doors and 6x9s in the deck on an Alpine amp in the trunk. I took the subs out, but the wiring is all run so you can install a new one easily.
I have Falken 19" x 8" rims on the car with gunmetal colored spokes. 2 tires are 3 months old, the other 2 are in OK shape. They do have the factory TPMS installed.
The engine has several faults, rear o2 (needs a new CAT), intake solenoids, fuel system evap leak... it will NOT pass an emissions test.
It has hand controls on it for gas and brake, but they can be easily removed.
I'm in Franklin, TN and I can drive the car to you, within reason...
