2004 Mazda Miata with Factory Hardtop
2004 Mazda MX-5 Miata With Hardtop Description
This is a beautiful, hard-to-find hardtop Miata that was previously owned/garaged by an elderly couple. I purchased it as a medical student 2 and half years ago with 20,000 miles and now has about 77,000 miles. It has NEVER been raced or autocrossed and has spent 99% of its life below 4K RPM's. The soft top has only been used a handful of times and has essentially spent all of its life underneath the factory Mazda red hardtop (easily removed).Kelly blue book value is approx $6600.
I am only selling it because I am graduating from Med school and have a new vehicle waiting for me in Miami where I will be doing my residency.
Next, it has never been in a collision nor had any sort of body work done to it, nor any major repairs whatsoever. Vehicle has mostly highway miles and is driven gently (still has stock brakes and clutch). Seats are in fantastic condition as well with ZERO rips or tears.
Regular maintenance and oil changes have always been done at the necessary intervals. Just now completed was a 75,000 mile service with full synthetic fluids (motor, transmission, differential fluid), new radiator coolant and replacement parts (K&N filter, new upper shift boot, new spark plugs, new windshield wipers). Future maintenance will need to include the timing belt at no later than 100,000 miles.
Improvements on the car include Clearwater factory replacement door speakers, Grom audio Bluetooth receiver with wired microphone, hard wired radar detector cord, Magnecor extended warranty spark plug wires, and a high flow catalytic converter. There is also a removable trailer hitch (for a bike rack etc) that can be easily removed or included at no cost to the buyer.
(There is an optional Goodwin chrome trunk rack, Kuat trailer hitch bike rack, and Flyin Miata roadster exhaust available as well-price negotiable)
Tire tread is approx 4-5/32" (aka about half) on BFGoodrich tires with twin spoke 16" wheels and original factory suspension. The alignment is being checked this week at Firestone and set to factory settings as seen in the to-be-included printout.
With all that being said, there are a couple cosmetic issues such as rock damaged fog lights, a small upward poking dent on the trunk lid, scratches to passenger dash, a few barely noticeable paint chips, and a small door ding or 2.
Minor issues aside, the Miata just today got its own professional detail (interior, exterior, wheels/tires) with full wax job and looks absolutely beautiful. The hardtop received equal attention as well with polish and wax to keep it looking bright and protected from the elements.
Cosmetics aside, this is a vehicle that I can say has ZERO maintenance issues or problem areas that would hinder the next buyer's satisfaction. This is not my first Miata, nor did I ever learn how to drive a standard on this car. And it shifts smooth, effortlessly, and flawlessly every time.
Overall, I hope to get this little gem of a car to its next owner who will cherish it, explore their surroundings in it, and take care of it they way I have. Please notice my flawless eBay seller rating and bid with confidence: 100% Guaranteed.
