2006 Mazda Mazda5 Touring Description

LAST CHANCE - Row your own gears, carve cornersand let the kids close their own sliding doors!
RARE 1st year combination of the 5-speed manual transmission with the Touring package - including sunroof, pop-up navigation, steering wheel cruise and audio controls, automatic climate control, 17" alloys, fog lights, remote keyless entry, Japanese Domestic Market body kit with sill extensions/hatch spoiler, 6-disc CD changer with upgraded speakers, aftermarket Thule/Inno roof rack system and extra snow tires on 16" Sport Edition wheels - all keys, manuals, spare tire & tools included.

Sharp blue/indigo exterior & black cloth interior color combo marred only by minor scrapes and rear wheel-well rust spots of a decade old vehicle, and a deer dent on the hood that could be popped out - otherwise mechanically perfect with upgraded shocks and brakes.
With a light clutch, torquey powertrain, responsive steering and lively handling, the 5 is a joy to drive with 25+ mpg returned from the solid and simple 4 cylinder under most conditions, and is super-maneuverable compared to the bigger mega-minivans.

Center console storage up front, independent sliding seats with hidden storage and flip out table in 2nd row, adult-capable fold-flat split rear seats and a multi-position rear hatch with configurable storage compartment converts the wagon to a hauling trucklet. Add a roof-top bag or box for the longer trips and smirk at those carrying around 1500 extra pounds with no additional utility.
Ten short trouble-free years and almost 95,000 miles has taken us from a young urban couple to a 3-child family in the burbs - this unique 6-passenger vehicle excels from commuting to road-tripping but is particularly excellent with infants and young children - you can't beat the packaging, layout and light sliding-doors!
Alas the time has come to move to a more carpool-capable vehicle - but the 5 will be sorely missed. Please only serious inquiries - the pricing is negotiable depending on the situation, but firm as the beloved mini-minivan will otherwise be gifted within the family. More info, details, pictures, service history available upon request.
Purchased from Quirk Mazda in August '06 and had scheduled maintenance primarily performed at Liberty Mazda with synthetic oil since the 2nd change. Never any pets or cigarettes in the vehicle - odor and stain free! Complete non-scheduled maintenance history and mileage below:
