1966 Mercedes-Benz Other Description

This 1966 UNIMOG 404S is in great condition and runs well. The truck went through a frame off restoration / rebuild in 2007. The truck has been used very lightly since the restoration and has approximately 1000 miles on the engine and transmission. The truck is equipped with a 14 seats with seat belts on tour body with substantial roll cage that is bolted to the flatbed. The seating and roll cage assembly are very easily removed with 6 bolts to reveal the non skid coated diamond plate flatbed. The entire bed assembly was new at time of restoration. The cab was repainted in 2014, rusty areas removed and new steel was welded in to prevent further deterioration.The frame off restoration included:installation of crated re-manufactured M180 engineinstallation of re-manufactured transmissionclutch completenew torque tube bootsrebuild of master cylindernew brake cylindersnew exhaustnew axle seals
The truck is in overall good mechanical condition, looks and drives very well. The tires have some weather checking.
