2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sport Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.

Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor with the factory Sport Package. I would rate the exterior of this C230 Sport to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in black over black, which is a good color combination. The finish has a nice shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific C230, the worst I can point out are some scrape marks on the bottom of the front spoiler and a rub mark on the left corner of the rear bumper cover, which is to be expected at this age. Otherwise, there is really nothing noteworthy to report...just some normal scratches and chips here and there from daily use. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The most noteworthy thing to point out is that I didn't see any rust on the body, which is unusual at this age. The factory Sport Package gives this car a lower front spoiler with mesh inserts and integrated fog lamps, special side skirts, lower suspension, special five spoke alloy wheels and cross-drilled front brake rotors...which all together give this Merc a very aggressive look. The Sport alloy wheels are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.

I would also rate the interior of this C230 Sport to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The deeply bolstered front seats are very comfortable and supportive. The only noticeable wear on the seats is a torn line of stitching on the one panel of the drivers seat cushion. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sound good. There are steering wheel audio controls as well as a factory CD changer in the glove box. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It has independent settings for both the driver and passenger. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR. The trunk is spacious and clean.

Mechanically, this Mercedes appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.8L supercharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The sport suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good. The front brake rotors and pads are brand new. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The five speed automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight wtih no complaints. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
