2004 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG.
This is my wife’s car – we are selling because we just bought her a new Range Rover.
We purchased the car in Arizona on April 18, 2010 with 46,100 miles. The car spent 2004-2010 as a 1 owner Arizona Car sold new at Mercedes-Benz of Chandler.
We’ve used the car sparingly driving it 6500 miles per year on average since we bought it. The first 4 years we shipped it to Arizona every winter.
The car is completely stock and has been well serviced. The brakes (pads and rotors) were replaced in April 2013 at 66,435 miles.
The car is in amazing condition with the interior at a 9 of 10 and the exterior at an 8.5 of 10. Although this car is very fast, it has never been abused or mistreated in any way. Always adult driven.
I see a lot of these E55’s on Ebay with heavy modifications and you know those cars were raced and abused.
The good:
·Fabulous car – well cared for and in great condition.
·This car is a bullet. With 469HP this car is way too fast for the chassis, in my opinion.
·Included in sale is a full set of weather tech winter floor mats. These helped to keep the factory summer mats in perfect condition.
·Included in sale a full set of almost new Blizzak snow tires. They are currently mounted on the car and have about 4,000 miles on them.
·Included in the sale a great set of Michelin Pilot Sport summer tires with about 85% tread all around with about 8,000 miles on them.
The bad:
·The driver’s sun visor droops a bit. It was like this when we bought the car. It does not affect the use of the visor, but it hangs down about ½” instead of pushing up flush with the roof.
·The front right strut rattles. We had the dealer diagnose and the sheath on the strut came loose and it rattles. This does not impact the strut or the driving of the car in any way. However the rattle is annoying. My wife got used to it, so we never bothered to go back to get it replaced. Estimate to replace the strut with labor was $700.00
·There are some rock chips and a small scratch on the front bumper. Other than that the car is in great condition.
The reserve price is very fair. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, but I’ll be happy to help coordinate shipping and we will bring the car to a shipping depot if necessary. We ship cars to our home in Arizona every year and we use American Auto Transport in Canton, MA if you would like to use a local carrier.
Good luck bidding.
