You are bidding on a beautiful and meticulously maintained 1991 Mercedes Benz 560SEL with just under 32K original miles. This example is finished in beautiful and classic Mercedes Astral silver (code 735) with flawless gray leather interior (code 268). 1991 was the final year for the iconic W126 S-Class. If you have ever owned or driven one of these magnificent cars then you know how special they are. The solidity, build quality, and engineering are without compromise. This particular example was purchased new at Calstar Motors Inc. Mercedes Benz in Glendale, California. I have the original purchase contract that goes with the car. The original owner traded in a 1986 Porsche 944 on this beautiful Mercedes. It remained garaged in the same residence in Glendale, CA for the next 23 years until I purchased it in 2014 and had it shipped enclosed carrier to Florida where it now it resides in my garage. The original owner stated that the car has never even been driven in the rain and I have not driven it in any kind of inclement weather since I have owned it. She only comes out of the garage on the occasional perfect weekend day. It truly is a magnificent example of the final year W126 560SEL.

The exterior finish on the car is beautiful and show quality. There are no significant dents, dings, or scratches on the body. Not a single door ding of any kind. The chrome on the entire car is equally as gorgeous with a mirror finish and no flaws. The only imperfection on thecar is a very small scratch on the right (passenger side) of the front bumper. It is very minor and I have included a picture. The anodized aluminum trim around all of the windows is also bright and clear with no significant hazing or fading. All of the original glass is perfect with not chips or scratches of any kind. The wheels are in excellent condition and the car is sitting on nearly new matching Michelin Energy tires on all four corners.

The interior of the car is truly flawless and like new. I cannot find a single issue with the interior. No wear on any items such as the steering wheel, shift lever, pedals, etc. The leather is perfect with no wear marks or scuffs or scratches of any kind. The driver's side seat bolster as well as the center armrest where most wear usually occurs are both flawless. The carpet is equally as perfect again with no wear marks, scuffs, or stains of any kind. The wood on the dash, console, and doors is again perfect. It has a deep dark luster with absolutely no fading and not a single crack. (Very rare to find. Perfect representation that the car has always been kept out of the sun and lived in a mild environment without extreme temperature changes.) Also, the markings on the instrument cluster and needles are all bright orange with no fading whatsoever. No sun fading at all on any of the interior.. dash, doors, rear parcel shelf, etc.. All power options work as they should, even the clock, and the A/C blows ice cold.

The engine compartment is spotless and truly appears as new. The factory cosmoline is still on many of the components giving them their goldish hue. The undercarriage is equally as nice. The underside of the car is as clean as thetop. I do not have immediate access to a lift, however, I have tried to take several photos of the undercarriage to represent how truly clean it is. The trunk compartment is also in excellent condition. Has all original factory tools and jack. Original Michelin spare which has never been out of the car. Also have both original rear foot rests.

The carwas always regularly serviced at Calstar Mercedes Benz and was taken in for its yearly California inspections which it always passed. When I received the car, I took it to a very well respected Mercedes Benz specialist whom I've used numerous times before and had them go through the car. I had them check all belts and hoses, and replaced all filters, fluids, etc. I also had both fuel pumps replaced as well as fuel filter just as a preventative measure due to age. Nothing else was found to be wrong with the car. All service is up to date. Car needs nothing mechanically or cosmetically.

Cars comes with all original books, brochures, purchase contract, first aid kit, Mercedes Benz mats, and keys. I've included many photos to help represent the condition of the vehicle. Probably a little too many but better to have too many than not enough. This is the fourth one that I have owned and I know these cars fairly well. The only reason that I am selling is because another vehicle that I have had my eye on for quite some time has come available and I simply do not have the garage space to keep everything unfortunately.
