1982 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Description

You are looking at a 1982 Mercedes 240D converted to a 300D 5 cylinder turbo. Manual 4 speed transmission. Mercedes never made a 5 cylinder turbo 4 speed car for Europe or USA. Car is a very nice car for being 33 years old. Exterior and interior has blemishes. This is not a restored benz. A lot of time and money has been put into this one of kind car. Even the AC blows cold!!! The engine has 60,000 miles on it. It is a 1987 warranty engine. I can provide pictures that prove its a 87 engine if needed. Engine runs great and has great power. Tranmission shifts as it should and clutch feels great. There is no vibrations in any gear when driving down the road. The correct flywheel was used. Steers straight and true down the road and takes speed bumps like a true mercedes. This is a very cool car and the pictures will speak for its self.
