Finished in a beautiful "Brilliant Silver" metallic, the paint job shows extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. All trim pieces are in excellent condition. All weather-stripping is in very good condition with no signs of drying, tearing or shrinkage. The headlights and taillights are in excellent condition with no hazing or cracks. The car has never been in an accident. Paint and body are in original and untouched condition with no repair or damage. Both the hardtop and soft top are in excellent condition.
Inside, the original Ash Grey leather seats look great with the only sign of wear being on the drivers side bolster from getting in/out of the car, very minor. The door panels and dashboard are also in excellent shape. The factory steering wheel is in excellent condition. Also equipped with power windows, power locks, automatic dual-zone air conditioning, AM/FM/CD Seven-channel digital surround sound, cruise control, and more. Everything works on this car with no issues.
This SL500 has the high performance 5.0L, 24-valve SOHC V8 engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power 4 wheel disc brakes and sensor-controlled roll bars as well as 18-inch AMG alloy wheels wrapped in directional tires that have about 3,000 miles on them, wheels present well with just a few chips or minor curb rash. There is some light damage on the lower portion of the front chin spoiler.
The only flaws that I am aware of are:-The foam insulation under the engine bay hood is dry and coming apart.-There is a small puncture on the vinyl tonneau cover on the driver's side from where the hard top accidentally slipped and landed.-Parking curb rash on front underside facia. Scraped, but not severe.
Current mileage on the odometer shows 19,950 actual miles. This car is in excellent overall condition and has always been stored in a garage. Sold as is with a clean and clear actual mileage title. Please feel free to send an email with questions.
