Custom Sprinter Executive Transport
2012 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 / 170 Hightop Description
This van needs a new home now. We are leaving California and do not want to move this majestic van to Michigan where we are fearful the salted roads will harm him.
One of a kind Executive Family Transport Sprinter.
This is not your average Sprinter. This was built by legendary Mercedes Upfitter Ron Weaver of Southern California. Ron was with Becker Automotive when they began and then opened his own operation in San Fernando.
Ron was a pioneer in this business and is the gold standard for how to do it right.
Aircraft aluminum was used for all of the interior work. Many shops cut costs by using wood. Not Ron and his team. Wood will squeak over time and should be avoided at all costs.
Sumptuous leather seats for nine. 6 are heated, and 2 recline. Seats are custom built by Ron and his team in-house. No off the shelf generic seats in their custom vans.
Two Sony big screen televisions. One fore, one aft. 4 sets of wireless headphones so riders can watch quietly without disturbing the main cabin.
Mercedes AC keeps the van at the perfect temperature you set.
Under the rear bench seats are two refrigerated drawers for keeping your drinks or food chilled.
DVD player, surround sound system and wired for 4 G Wifi.
Electric soft fabric blinds can provide the ultimate in privacy as your drive down the road.
Remotes for the television and the DVD playerand blinds are included.
Back-up camera, and class 5 trailer hitch ( I towed a 5 x 8 trailer two times ) and brand new Michelin tires on Mercedes alloy rims.
Ron builds these vans with hand crafted running boards designed to hold over 500 pounds.
2000 watt true sine wave inverter provides ample AC and DC power in multiple outlets.
Multiple lights in the roof enable each passenger to control their lighting.
Two of the seats recline and have electric footrests. There is a DVD cabinet next to the sound system in the rear. Sound system and built-in navigation system up front.
The trunk is a thing of beauty. Two drawers hold all of your loose items, and the illuminated trunk with DC ports is carpeted in industrial grade commercial carpeting to hold more than 8 suitcases with ease. Inside the main cabin there is overhead bin storage similar to an aircraft.
There are also tray tables that are hidden into the walls that allow you to eat at your seats.
This vehicle has only been driven by one person its entire life. Me. I am a 60-year-old male who takes exceptional care of my toys. We are selling this as we are relocating from the Monterey Bay Area to Michigan for our son to go to school.
I simply cannot imagine letting this majestic vehicle rot under the salt strewn icy roads.
Every service has been done by Mercedes dealers. Period. We just had the full service done a few weeks ago. The van is named Carson...and he is looking for a new home.
Not just any home, the right home.
Carson has never seen snow, has never gone faster than 70 miles an hour, and has never been in any altercation or accident. He has never been smoked in, and would prefer you do not smoke.
I routinely get 18 to 23 miles per gallon depending on if I use cruise control, which I largely do. Carson runs like a fine German machine...which of course, he is.
I still owe about $20K to Pentagon Federal Credit Union so we will have to attend to that prior to getting the clean title.
You simply will not find a more elegant Sprinter in the United States for this price.
Toss in the fact that it was built by one of the finest Mercedes Upfitters in the country and this is an exceptional vehicle.
The van is currently parked at my offices in La Selva Beach, California.
The paint is virtually spotless...but there are two or three very minor chips / scratches.
In short, an elegant transport device for an executive or a family that wishes to travel in style and elegance. I cannot tell you how many people have walked up to me and asked for a peek inside. They are always dazzled.
Thank you for your interest.
