2006 Mercedes-Benz R-Class Description

This is a beautiful and rare Mercedes R500 4Matic. This R500 has almost every option available including a rare combination of Alabaster White exterior over full Ash leather interior. Options include bi-xenon headlights with cleaning system and active curve light and corner illumination fog lamps. Meaning the headlights turn when you turn the steering wheel, and the fog lights illuminate the corners while steering. Great when turning or pulling into a driveway. Parktronic parking sensors for when navigating tight spaces. There is a (removable) 2nd row center console that provides 2 illuminated cup holders and a large storage bin. The interior lighting package includes illuminated vent wheels, door handles, cup holders and foot wells. Premium Ash color all weather rubber mats help protect the carpets.

The panoramic roof is huge and provides one of the largest open roofs available. There is also a motorized shade for sunny days. The 3rd row quarter windows open and close from the drivers window switch. A convenient power tailgate. There are 2 DVD players in the 1st row headrests. 3 zone climate control with passenger and rear occupant controls keeps everyone happy. This R500 also includes the rare Airmatic suspension option which allows you to raise and lower the vehicle by 3 inches. Also an Adaptive Damping Systems that allows the driver to customize the ride with normal/sport/comfort settings.

The Keyless go with push button start is very convenient. Just have the key in your pocket or purse and the car will unlock when you touch the door handle and you can start the car as easy as pushing a button. The driver and passenger seats are extremely comfortable.Each front seat has 14 adjustments and 3 memory settings and aMulticontour seat option for the driver and front-seat passenger contain air chambers enabling them to be adapted to the user's individual anatomy to give real orthopaedic support. They enhance comfort and driver fitness, especially on long journeys. 3 level heated front seats. Multi-function leather steering wheel with beautiful wood inlays. The memory settings also control the steering wheel and side view mirrors. The side view mirrors include turn signals, puddle lamps and automatically lower when in reverse and are power folding when parking in tight spaces.

There is a premium Harman/Kardon LOGIC 7audio system that includes 12 speakers and sounds fantastic. There is a 6 CD changer with MP3 capability and a single CD player in the dash. Aux in put for connecting a MP3 player. DVD navigation is very convenient when traveling.

The R-class can carry 6 adults easily. Even a 6 foot tall person will bevery comfortable in the 3rd row! The 3rd row also has child anchors and the LATCH system for car seats. Very few vehicles can do that!

4MATIC all wheel drive allows you to drive in any weather confidently. Deep snow is no match for the 4MATIC system.

A very powerful V8 engine with 7 speed transmission shiftssmoothly.

The rear entertainment system works but the remote is not included and is needed for some functions to work properly. The audio input for the DVD players has been converted to an aux input for an iPod, phone or MP3 player. This was more useful for us and can be changed back easily.

A 2”trailer hitch has been installed.

As with any car that is 10 years old there are a few things to note. The CD changer seems “stuck” and will not allow you to load a CD. Thepassenger door lock button does not work. The door locks just fine but the function cannot be controled by thepassenger. The driver side temperature control wheel needs to be turned several times to adjust the temperature up. The rear passenger side window switch does not work. There are small stains in the carpet - nothing serious. There are a few small dents/dings/scratches on the exterior with a large one on thepassenger door and a small one on the drivers door. There is a dent on the driver side front near the bumper. There is a large scratch on the tailgate and several on the rear bumper. The AC system sometimes will not blow cold air and the parking brake release is loose.

The following terms of sale apply to online sales.

Payment Methods

Wire Transfer,Cash (In Person), certified check, or 3rd-party financing. All funds must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid.

Deposit

The successful high bidder will submit a $500 non-refundable deposit within 2 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle.

Payment of Balance Due

The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 7days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.

Additional Fees and Taxes

Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.

Shipping

The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.

Buyer's Inspection

Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle to you. If you plan to have a buyers inspection, please make sure you inspect the vehicle prior to the auction ending. Buyer is responsible for any inspection charges and fees.

Warranty

Notice to Bidders

We reserve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale.

Bid Retractions

Bid retractions are not allowed nor will be recognized within 12 hours of auctions end. Seller will not be obligated to sell in the event of a late retraction.

Negative Feedback Bidders

We do not allow bidding from negative feedback bidders. New bidders with zero feedback rating should email prior to bidding.

Successful Bidder

The winning bidder will be contacted via email after the auction closes or he/she must contact us within 24 hours to proceed with payment and delivery arrangements.

Non-Paying Bidder

If the deposit is not received within 2 business days of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 7days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer.
