2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class Base Convertible 2-Door Description

This is one of my several project cars, professional tuned Supercharged 5.4L.I am the second owner, and purchased at 17600 miles in 2003 for 60K.
Details:- 2002 CLK 55 AMG Supercharged.- Dynoed at 475HP- Always garage kept, and parked in covered garage at work.- This car can talk to you, dial for you, turn on the windshild wipers for you. Everything high-end cars of 2016 can do plus more. You can have all of this at a fraction of the price!- This car has been in the rain maybe 10 times in its life. I have many more pics if you wish to see.- All maintenance performed at Austin Mercedes, as have all repairs. I have flushed the trans, brakes, radiator, power steering and rear-end at 65K. Mercedes said I did not need to touch until 120K. The engine holds 10 quarts, and they call for a change at 10K intervals. This is a perfect car at a fraction of the price. You can easily get 300K miles out of the rock hard 5.4L hand built AMG engine. Easy to find parts and repairs are not expensive with these engine models.

Learn more about the CLK AMG:Ask any Mercedes-Benz fan to pick three letters that mean speed, and they'll likely come up with AMG. Since its birth in 1967, tuner AMG has been turning Mercedes-Benz luxury cars into potent performance machines. The CLK55 Cabrio is powered by AMG's hand-built 5.4 liter aluminum V8 with twin- spark, 3-valve-per-cylinder heads, and dual resonance intake manifold. The five-speed automatic transmission is based on the heavy-duty gearbox used in the V-12 S-class models. And it is coupled to a reinforced differential with a beefy driveshaft four inches in diameter. The complex dual-resonance intake manifold with carefully tuned runners is mostly what delivers the torque.
Double wishbone front, 5-link independent rear suspension system delivers a sporting ride. The CLK55 AMG's suspension is upgraded with stiffer springs, tighter shock valving, thicker stabilizer bars and firmer suspension bushings.
The top is fully lined with a glass back light, it takes about 25 seconds to drop once you release the header latch and hit the button.
Larger-diameter and thicker vented brake rotors, squeezed by twin-piston calipers, increase stopping ability to match the power boost. The front vented discs are 13.2 inches in diameter and the rears 11.8. The rotors are pin-mounted, a racing technique which keeps them cooler.
On the track, the AMG CLK is agile, responsive, and extremely quick. Its steering is so linear that you carve your desired lines through the corners precisely without need for great concentration and constant corrections. As expected with the AMG-upgraded brakes, stopping power is strong and fade-free.
The CLK55 retains the Mercedes electronic stability program (ESP), which combines the functions of traction control and stability control; you can drive the car to about 7/10ths with these systems engaged.
The rear seat is large enough for adults during short urban trips. The trunk space is generous, and the interior is comfortable and well finished. The CLK boasts room for four with outstanding seats that are handsomely finished. The front seats are firm and supportive with 12-way power adjustments. Adjustments work fluidly and it's easy to find a comfortable position. Three-position memory buttons on the driver's door includes settings for the seats and outside mirrors.
The CLK55 AMG gets special multi-contour heated seats with pneumatic side, lumbar. With a full complement of luxury features: leather upholstery with fine wood trim, dual-zone climate control, Bose sound system, dual heated power outside mirrors. The leather-trimmed steering wheel telescopes manually and features nice audio and telephone controls that are soft to the touch.
