I am selling my mother’s 2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK 55 AMG. The vehicle is being sold due to it not being a very farm friendly vehicle, or snow friendly vehicle, and my mother ended up purchasing a 4x4 truck that is now her everyday vehicle. Car has been sitting for the entire winter, and is currently no longer plated or insured. The minor issues that the car does have, doesNOT effect its driveability. The car would still be driven daily if a new car wasn't purchased in its place. It starts right up and is waiting for its new owner!
The vehicle was never smoked in and never gave any major issues. The regular maintenance was kept up on by the mechanic while the car was being driven. The most recent repairs and diagnostics consist of a full synthetic oil change, tires replaced, and the valve cover gasket replaced.
The car has very tiny oil leak still and it seems to be coming from the new valve cover gasket or the oil sending unit. The mechanic also diagnosed that the fan control module was going bad and preventing the fan from going on ‘high speed’. The fan still goes fine, but is always in the ‘slow speed’ mode and won’t kick into high.
My parents did purchase the fan control module outside from the mechanic due to it being cheaper that way, but they haven’t had the car taken back to the mechanic for the install since it has been sitting all winter.
I will attempt to be as up front as possible, so feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you might have via eBay message. I would recommend looking at uship for vehicle shipping prices. The price is slightly negotiable, so feel free to make a reasonable offer.
