1997 Mercedes-Benz 500-Series Description

A really nice 1997 S500 luxury Sedan. Solid, safe and powerful, with huge comfort and room - very quick when you need it and a great family car, to commute or for long haul journeys. Very clean throughout - no smokers and no pets. It will run for years and never let you down. Tested and Texas Taxed to March 2017. Comes with a full tow hitch - a full spare wheel in the trunk and the original Mercedes Leather binder. Runs sweet and quiet - burns no oil. Serviced regularly by Barron Autos - Green's road, Houston. Great top class Michelin tires all round with less than 40% wear. The usual amount of notes for a car this year. The driver's seat is a little worn but no tears all the other seats are very good and the carpets are perfect throughout. The rear looks as if it's never been sat in. Has lived in Texas so no rust from salt etc. The radio and CD player work perfectly but the antenna sticks from lack of use - I never use the radio. The antenna has stuck before - a little lubricant and it will work as new. The speakers are Bose and fabulous sound in front and back. A tiny crack in the door speaker cover (see picture) but no damage to the speaker. The power locks on doors and trunk all work well to close but one door opens a little slowly with the remote. The tow hitch makes a slight rubbing noise occasionally but works fine - there's an electric hook up for a trailer but I've never used it. There is a tiny amount of paint peel on the front plastic bumper - see the picture for detail. I recommend a test drive to make sure you love this car as much as I do. I wouldn't think of parting with this motor except that I have to go overseas with work for several years. A winning bid as always is a sale. Thanks for looking - happy bidding.
