1999 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Description

1999 MERCEDES SLK230 CONVERTIBLE. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRITPION.
The good, new starter, halo headlights, new $1200, tires and wheels have less than 500 miles on them. I purchased seats from a newer model low mileage slk230 for $700 and installed. New updated grill. We have owned the car for 1.5 years and it mostly sits in the garage. We have put less than 500 miles since we have owned it. I have over $7000 in this car. The paint looks okay, there are the normal imperfections one would expect from a 17 year old car. In one of the photos you can see where i am pointing out where there is a small scratch above the rear wheel well. The drivers side mirror has something on it. Glue maybe? i would advise replacement of the glass.
The bad.
Upon recent replacement of a battery a host of issues arose, the top will not open. The previous owner rebuilt the hydraulics so it's most likely a bad switch not allowing the top to start the operation, but i am no mechanic. I'm just going by research on the internet. The switches cost about $30 each.
The brake lights and asr lights (brake assist) lights remain on after cranking. The speedometer quit working. All of these items popped up after replacing the battery.
The switch for the mirror adjustment is broken, i have a new switch that will go with the sale.
The car starts and drives fine. I don't have the mechanical know how to address these issues, nor the time or the will to take it to the shop and get it fixed. I have a video of the car running and driving. If i can figure out how to post it in this ad i will. Otherwise i can email you the video.
