2001 Mercedes-Benz M-Class ML55 AMG Description

Up for sale here is my 2001 Mercedes ML55 AMG. It's very clean, has no issues, no lights on the dash, no noises, no BS, just a great running vehicle that is ready to go. I am the 3rd Owner and it has a clean CarFax. All the service is up to date, Oil Change was just done yesterday. I've always used Full Synthetic Oil, and Premium Gas.
If you are looking at this ad, then you likely already know what an amazing machine the vehicle is. For those who don't know the significance behind this SUV, then here is a little background....
When Mercedes puts an AMG engine in a vehicle it is not your standard production vehicle anymore. Real AMG Mercedes are a 1 Man - 1 Motor affair. Build by hand by 1 certified AMG technician from start to finish. This 5.5L V8 is one of very few that can make this claim with only 1100 ML55 AMG's built in 2001. When the ML55 went first hit the streets they were the fastest production SUV in the world. They are still a fast SUV even by todays standards, but if Mercedes hadn't done what the did, then I doubt we would have seen the likes of the SRT8 Grand Cherokee and Trailblazer SS.
Now on to this one. I purchased this ML 55 from Texas earlier this year because I never buy cars from the north. This one has ZERO RUST anywhere, completely clean top to bottom. It has never seen winter, never seen a salty road, and this really makes a huge difference. The paint shines like new and aside from some bumper damage that has some duct tape over it, the body panels are all straight and clean. NO major dents or scratches anywhere.
The engine runs strong and sounds amazing, no leaks, no noises, no issues. This vehicle is 100% mechanically sound, and will be for a long time. Steering and Suspension are all tight and she drives straight down the road with no issues. NO clunks, no squeaks, just a smooth quite ride.
Step inside and you'll see that this one has stood the test of time fairly well. The Front and Back seats are clean and in great shape, I didn't take pictures of the back because my child seats are back there at the moment. NO cracked or torn leather, all the buttons and switches work as the should, except the volume knob on the radio can have a mind of it's own at times. Also the wiper stalk was knocked off, but still works as it should. The plastic side panels on the seats are loose, they could likely be reattached tightly if you cared to, but it's not an issue ever, and lastly the glove box door handle pulls off. Other than a few interior and exterior flaws which are very minor and completely liveable, this is as good as you will find of condition in our area. I have taken things into account with my price as these usually sell closer to the $9000 price point.
